Matt Christopher Sets Record in Derby

On Sunday July 27th, 2014 The Jersey State Bombers 13-U attended the Wave Rider Tournament at Cal Ripken in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Prior to every tournament that they host, they do a series of competitions. One of which is a home run derby. The contestant in the home run derby only gets 8 total pitches thrown to them. Of the 8 total pitches, Matt Christopher sent 6 of them over the fence and the other 2 just in front of the fence on the warning track. To this day, he now holds the record for most points scored at any Cal Ripken Home Run Derby.
