Bombers that are HOT

The season is underway and some of our Bombers players are off to a real HOT start. Jarrad Dittmer on 11-Red leads the way with a .833 batting average. Dittmer carries 4 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run in 12 AB’s. Right behind him is Derek Thomas who is hitting .600 in 6 AB’s and Matt Bravyak with a .500 average in 10 AB’s.

No one can compare with 11-U Blue, who is 6-0 on the season with a team batting average of .437. Matt Christopher must be God’s best friend as he is certainly blessed with raw talent (And a good hitting instructor, LOL). Christopher tanks balls left and right. No matter what you throw to him, he just crushes the ball. Matt is hitting .600 with 3 doubles and 4 home runs and 9 RBI’s in 15 AB’s. Ryan Graham and EJ Mangione are also making noise in the ball park. Graham has a team lead .615 batting average in 13 AB’s.  Graham has 2 doubles, 2 triples and 1 home run with 8 RBI’s.  Mangione carries the team lead with 11 RBI’s. He is hitting .429 with two doubles and two home runs in 14 AB’s. Lead off hitter Sal Cusumano is doing his job and getting on base with his .667 OBP and .538 average. He is un-stoppable on the base paths stealing just about every base. He is THE ROADRUNNER. Ryan Feig also carries a ding dong on the season.

Josh Knapp is hitting a solid .556 in 9 AB’s for 13 Blue, he leads the way with two doubles. Conall Roberts is 3 for 7 with a .429 average. Mike Christopher and Liam Graham are both hitting .333 in the three games they have played. Things are just starting to kick in gear for the 13U squad and they will look to play the Mayslanding Muck Dogs this Saturday in a double header starting at 1pm Eastern Standard Time. Tucker Byrne, Tyler Herman and Joey Robertson will be down the third base line signing autographs at 12:05pm.
